FAWLEY continue to head the Hants 2 table – their 37-8 home success over Alton earning them another bonus point win.
The home side controlled the majority of the game and a period of sustained effort from Alton was met with great defending. Tries came from Chris Soards, Luke Merchie, Joe Jordan, Ratu Rokobiau and Mike Kitcher, with Tim Gascoigne kicking the rest of the points.
Southampton clocked up a resounding 66-14 home win over Aldershot & Fleet.
• Romsey made it two wins from two in their Hampshire 2 campaign with a convincing 63-3 win at Kingsclere.
Tries came from Jake Till and Jamie Stent (two each), Dan Penn Newman, Josh Davies and fresh cap Ollie Lamacraft, Matt Spark, Ali Wood, Phil Cunningham and Jake Fulford.
