Tickets are available for the first event of Jimmy Adams’ benefit year – An Evening with Sir Trevor McDonald.
‘Breaking News' takes place on Friday, April 24 at The Holiday Inn, Winchester.
Presented by Adams’ lifelong club St Cross Symondians, it will be hosted by Bob 'The Cat' Bevan, the former Kent CCC president and popular after-dinner speaker.
Sir Trevor McDonald was the sole presenter of ITN's News at Ten from 1992-2001 and until 2009 he hosted ITV's lead current affairs programme, Tonight with Trevor McDonald.
His love of cricket is well known and he has followed the sport closely all his life. He has written biographies of iconic West Indian cricketers Clive Lloyd and Sir Vivian Richards and has just finished two years serving as President of Surrey CCC.
