Hampshire lost to Northants in the semi-finals of the Barbados Cup.
Liam Dawson took 3-19, including a sharp catch off his own bowling to dismiss David Willey for 77, and Gareth Berg (1-32) )and Yasir Arafat (1-38) took their first wickets for Hampshire as Northants made 170-5.
But Hampshire lost by 32 runs after being dismissed for 138 with Owais Shah (37), James Vince (17), Gareth Berg (16*), Adam Wheater (15) and Sean Terry (12) the only players to reach double figures.
Joe Gatting, Brad Taylor, Lewis McManus and Tom Barber also played.
Shah made 62* as Hampshire beat Combined Campuses and Colleges on the same ground, the University of West Indies' 3Ws Oval, on Saturday.
