Hampshire clubs are involved in some intruiging battles at the top and bottom of London 3 South-West tomorrow.

Leaders Andover will be put to the test at home by London Exiles who need a victory to stay in the promotion race.

The Exiles lost to Eastleigh last weekend as the Bishopstoke Road side got their promotion push back on the road by climbing into second place.

Eastleigh travel to Old Mid-Whitgiftian looking for revenge after being beaten by a single point at home in October.

There is a vital relegation battle as third-from-bottom Ellingham & Ringwood make the trip to Trojans.

It was a close encounter the last time the sides met in the league and the same is expected at Stoneham Park.

Trojans’ chairman Shaun Magill said: “We have not consigned ourselves to going down and will battle right to the last game.

“We have targetted four or five wins from eight games so the odds are getting slimmer, but we are not giving up and numbers at training are good.”

Flanker Dan Corbett will bring his experience back to the first XV after a long absence but Trojans are likely to be without Chris Boyd, who can operate at fly half or centre.

Magill added: “We are looking forward to the game because we so nearly turned them over up there and could have, and should have, come home with a win.”
