Millbrook were left kicking their heels a bit at the beginning of the season – but times have changed at busy Five Acres.

Brook had to sit out a couple of league matches in September but were one of a handful of Hampshire clubs in cup action last weekend – and the only one to win in RFU competitions.

And they are back in action tomorrow as they continue their battle for the top places in Snows Group Hampshire 1 with another home fixture.

Brook take on promoted Fareham Heathens who have made a bright start to the campaign and gave leaders US Portsmouth a run for their money last time out.

Flanker Barney Jones moves into the first team after impressing in the seconds and winger Matt Randell keeps his place in the squad.

Captain Mike Randell said: “Fareham have come up to this league and impressed so far.

“We know not to underestimate them and looking forward to playing them.”

Fordingbridge’s aim of automatic promotion has taken a dent in recent weeks.

Two defeats on the trot – three in all this season – has pushed them down to fourth.

Bridge have the chance to get back among the leading contenders with a home win over Farnborough while US Portsmouth will protect their position by hosting Petersfield.
