Hampshire have named an unchanged 13-man squad for the LV County Championship match against Glamorgan.

Wicketkeeper Adam Wheater is still unavailable as he recovers from a finger fracture, so Michael Bates will continue behind the stumps.

Glamorgan will be without Australian fast-bowler Michael Hogan, who has returned home to attend the birth of his second child.

Hampshire all-rounder Matt Coles said: “It’s been nice to have a week off, the boys have worked hard up until now and hopefully we can go into this game and hit the ground running.

“We want to do our best to try and win the game. It’s going to be a tough ask especially with their bowlers doing very well recently but I think we’ve got the players to be able to do it.”

“I’m not too fussed if I’m holding an end up and wickets are falling at the other. It’s a team game and we’ve got to work as a bowling until as a whole.”
