MARLOW Hockey Club managed to get five games in before the snow fell, below, last week, with the first team making the most of the opportunity with a 4-3 win at PHC.
Ben Roberts twice equalised by completing his hat-trick to put Marlow 3-2 up, and Francis Lloyd scored the winner after PHC had levelled it again.
Meanwhile, Marlow 2’s opened up a 12-point gap on third place West Hampstead by beating them 6-1 thanks to Rob Gerrits (3), Tom Packer, Trevor Jackson and Richard Clee.
Marlow 3a’s got their 3-0 win in before the snow came, while Marlow Strollers downed British Airways 7-3 (Greg Bagwell 4, Jim King, Nigel Pike and Paul Barraclough).
