ANDOVER Swimming and Waterpolo club recently held its Age and Aggregate Championships at the Andover Leisure Centre.

All four swim strokes were offered, plus a 100 metre individual medley (IM) consisting of a length of all four strokes.

This event is the club’s premier annual event, and with the club growing, there was an increase of some 28 per cent in swims from 2015.

In under 10s Edwards Davis won gold in all swims except the IM, which was won by Callum Logan, who also won silver in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.

Bronze medals were won by Austin Rowe in freestyle, Harry Law in backstroke and Oliver Allott in breaststroke.

For the girls there was quite a mix. Emily Ainsworth–Fletcher won gold in breaststroke, Amelie Searle won gold in butterfly, and won bronze in freestyle and backstroke.

Lilly Hardy won gold in freestyle and backstroke.

Catherine Massey won gold in the IM, and silver in breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle. Lauren Armstrong won silver in backstroke and Saskia Whiteman won bronze in breaststroke.

In the under 12s Matthew Johnson won gold in backstroke, butterfly and the IM, silver in freestyle and breaststroke.

Preston Abbensetts won gold in freestyle and silver in the IM. Jack Searle won gold in breaststroke and silver in backstroke.

Jamie Michell won silver in butterfly and bronze in freestyle, backstroke and the IM.

Thomas Green won bronze in breaststroke and butterfly. For the girls, Phoebe Cordner won gold in breaststroke and butterfly, silver in freestyle, bronze in backstroke.

Abbie Simmonds won gold in freestyle and backstroke, bronze in butterfly and the IM.

Lola Goddard won silver in breaststroke, backstroke and the IM with Danielle Smith winning silver in butterfly and bronze in breaststroke and freestyle In the under 14s Toby Fotheringham won gold in backstroke and the IM, and silver in all other swims.

Thomas Kirwan won gold in freestyle and butterfly, bronze in backstroke and the IM.

Reuben Kitchen won gold in breaststroke.

Joshua Armstrong won silver in backstroke and the IM, bronze in all other swims.

For the girls, Maisie Langdown won gold in all swims except bronze in breaststroke.

Ruby Goddard won gold in breaststroke and silver in all other swims.

Halle Cordner won silver in breaststroke and the IM, bronze in butterfly with Chloe Smith winning bronze in freestyle and backstroke In the under 16s Rhys Williams won gold in all swims except in butterfly where he won silver.

Joshua Wilson won gold in butterfly and silver in all other swims.

Logan Hammond won bronze in all swims except breaststroke which was taken by Jon Joseph Kirwan.

Georgia Langdown dominated the girls, winning gold in all swims, with Lola Shoemark winning silver.

The open group swam 100 metre swims.

Oliver Hunt won all gold medals, Jude Goddard won all silver medals and Thomas Lee scooped all bronze.

For the women, Amy Sambell won gold in all swims except silver in backstroke.

Ellie Smith won gold in backstroke, silver in the individual medley and bronze in freestyle.

Hannah Tribbeck won silver in breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle and bronze in backstroke and the individual medley.

The masters group swam 50 metre swims.

Guy Kitchen won gold in freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly and silver in backstroke and the individual medley.

Mark Smith won gold in backstroke and the individual medley , silver in all other swims.

Daniel Peddell won bronze in freestyle, backstroke and the individual medley, with Paul Goddard winning bronze in breaststroke.

For the women, Faith Bodsworth won gold in breaststroke, butterfly and the individual medley, while winning silver in freestyle and backstroke.

Jackie Smith won gold in freestyle and backstroke.
