ANDOVER New Street’s battle to avoid relegation was given a major boost on Wednesday night as they thrashed relegation rivals Pewsey Vale 3-0 at Foxcotte Park.
Striker Luke Cairney scored on the stroke of half-time to give Street a 1-0 lead at the break.
Jazz Beavis added a second on 70 minutes, before Jesse Todd added a third in injury time.
The win lifts New Street off the bottom of the Division One table and into 19th, above Pewsey Vale.
They face a tough trip to 5th placed Shaftesbury on Saturday.
