THE Andover Advertiser has agreed an exciting one-year media partnership with the Hampshire FA.

The partnership will give our dedicated sports readers more of an insight into the work of the not-for-profit governing body, which regulates football across Hampshire.

The Advertiser will now be home to a new monthly column, which will keep readers up-to-date with all of the latest news from the county FA office.

We will also be printing information highlighting key news and sporting events taking place across the Hampshire area.

Talking about the partnership, the Advertiser’s head of editorial, Mike Sims, said: “The Advertiser is passionate about local sport and we work closely with many clubs and organisations to bring you the best coverage possible.

“So I’m delighted to be working with the Hampshire FA and I hope readers find the new monthly column interesting and informative.

“If you have any feedback or suggestions about our sports pages, please contact James Robinson on 01264 321204 or email sportsdesk@ andoveradveradvertiser.co.uk.”

Isabella Sakias, business support officer at Hampshire FA, said: “I am delighted to announce yet another two media partners to the programme that show their willingness to support us and our members.

“The media partnership package was formed to create stronger bonds with the media, showing our loyalty in return to support those who are offering to support us with regular coverage.

“Our grassroots media heroes are helping us reach and connect with more people; we’re making our news reach as many channels as far and as wide as possible and it’s all because of them.”
