A THIRD-wicket stand of 131 between Will de Cani and Ben Gardner pointed Longparish to victory over visiting Bramshaw and sixth straight Hampshire League County Division 2 win.
Parish go to Fair Oak II on Saturday defending a healthy 37-point lead over Compton & Chandler’s Ford at the top.
Swashbuckling left-hander Andy Hart (56) took an immediate liking to the surface and dominated a 77-run opening partnership.
But Matt Jackman (5-33) made serious inroads, taking a nap hand of wickets before Andy Walker (48) and Mike Kingston (32) rallied to guide Bramshaw to 191 all out.
Kingston (4-56) struck two early blows for the visitors before de Cani (82) and Gardner (57) launched their match winning partnership.
He removed both batsmen with his second spell, but by then it was far too late and Parish stormed home with 15 overs to spare.
Ollie Coetzee and Chris Clarke rescued Longparish II from 87-9 with a tenth-wicket stand of 47 against Crown Taverners at Minley.
But Ben Heyhoe (6-10) wasn’t to be denied his win bonus as Taverners got home with five wickets in hand.
Adam Seidman, Jamie Blackmore and Alex Brinton all picked up wickets for Longparish II, who have had five of their ten Regional Division 1 games washed out.
Meanwhile Martin Bearpark (45) and Jordan Blackmore (4-35) couldn’t stop Longparish III losing by three wickets to Oakmount.
