ANDOVER New Street Youth Football Club have been awarded a top county-wide award.
The club were recently awarded the FA Charter Standard Community Club of the Year Award at the Hampshire FA’s 2016 awards.
Street’s Footy4Girls coordinator and coach Simon Dewhurst and Under 9s coach Kevin Pipkin represented the club at the annual awards evening held at St Mary’s Stadium, home of Southampton Football Club.
This was a great achievement and recognition for all the hard work from players, coaches, parents and volunteers who make Andover New Street a fun and enjoyable club.
The club has 15 youth teams from seven-18 years, three Girls teams, a Footy4Girls section and a starter group called Football FUNdamentals for four-and-a-half to six-year-olds.
The clubs also boasts an inclusive group called Streets Ahead providing football for those with special needs.
