ANDOVER New Street under nines lifted the Plate Trophy during a six-a-side tournament hosted by the club.
The team started well and finished third in their group with two wins, two draws and just one defeat.
They progressed to the plate semi-final and edged a close contest against Winklebury Wizards with a 1-0 win.
The final against Tadley Calleva Wasps was a tight game, finishing 0-0 and going to a penalty shoot-out.
The New Street players showed nerves of steel to win 9-8 in the shoot-out to lift the plate.
Meanwhile both U-11 sides made it through to the plate semi-finals but succumbed to penalty shoot-outs against Andover Shooters and AFC Newbury in a strong U11 competition.
Both Andover New Street Youth and Tadley U-13 sides reached the semi-finals with Tadley Calleva Stars eventually clinching the win in the final over New Street Blue Star.
Andover New Street Youth U-14 progressed to the semifinals following a 2-0 win over the eventual winners in the league stages.
However, they were beaten by a golden goal in extra time.
