ANDOVER Ladies were relegated back into Hampshire Division One after they ended their season with a heavy 6-0 loss at promotion chasing East Grinstead.

The Ladies, who have struggled all season, went into the game knowing they could be relegated following a loss.

Meanwhile their hosts needed seven goals to confirm top spot with goal difference a key factor in their battle for top spot with Basingstoke Ladies.

In the middle of the crossfire were Andover who faced a determined East Grinstead side.

The hosts took a 3-0 lead at half time despite a fighting performance from Andover.

East Grinstead continued to dominate after the break and scored another three to seal Andover’s relegation fate but narrowly miss out on promotion themselves.

Andover Ladies Seconds put in a good performance in their 2-0 defeat to a strong Fareham Ladies side.

The seconds attacked from the off put Fareham’s held strong before eventually turning the tables and scoring before half time.

Fareham scored again after the break to seal the win.

Andover Ladies Thirds finished their season with a 2-0 loss at home to Aldershot and Fareham Ladies Seconds.
