A FORMER Andover Rugby Club youngster has been called up to represent England at U20 level.

Will Stuart, from Lower Chute, has been named in the England U20 Elite Development Group when they compete in the six nations from today.

Stuart, who started his rugby life at Andover RFC aged five, will be in line to represent his country when they face Scotland later today.

Stuart spent six years with ARFC minis before going on to Salisbury Rugby Club.

Whilst playing school first XV rugby he was scouted by Wasps and signed a professional contract with the club where he is now part of their full time academy set up.

Under the guidance of the legendary "Lions" tight head prop Dai Young, he will be striving for full international honours in the future.

However in the meantime, Stuart will be setting his sights on helping the England U20's squad become 2016 Six Nations champions and hopefully cementing his place in the team for the World Championships taking place in Manchester in June.
