WHITCHURCH Squash Club ‘dressed up’ as they held their annual Greg Nicholson Memorial Doubles competition.
Now in its seventh year, the keenly contested competition involves participants dressing up for a series of double matches.
And the winning contestants, named ‘The Girls’, did just that as Lee Henderson and David Adamson stormed to victory in dresses.
After the group stages the semifinal results were Erdogan Ince with Al Painter beating Alex Melkonian with Tim Harding 15-9 and Biffer Gibson with Brett Farmer narrowly losing 17-15 to Lee Henderson with Dave Adamson.
Henderson and Adamson managed to win the final beating Ince and Painter 15-11.
Henderson was an appropriate winner as he was a long term friend of Mr Nicholson.
