ANDOVER Town boss Neil Benson has claimed that there will be 'changes in personnel' following their 3-2 defeat to local rivals Whitchurch.

Benson was unhappy at his side's performance in Tuesday night's derby, a result which means they have lost three out of their last four league games.

Town, who now sit nine points behind league leaders Salisbury, will be hoping to bounce back quickly from the defeat when they face mid-table Team Solent on Saturday.

And the manager told the Andover Advertiser that fans can 'expect to see a change in personnel on Saturday'.

He said: "I'm disappointed with the performance.

"We controlled the game for most parts but when you are letting in three goals for the second time in a row it is difficult to win matches.

"We have got to improve and that is something we have to look at - Maybe we will look to bring in new faces.

"I expect there will be changes to personnel come Saturday."

Benson watched as his side went 1-0 down inside the opening 10 minutes at Longmeadow when Danny Phillips opened the scoring after latching on to a Dave Parry through ball.

Town levelled before the break through Chris Onofriou who ghosted in to score an outstretched volley after Joe Maxwell had headed down.

The visitors took the lead after the break through Charlie Gunson who sprung the offside trap and calmly slotted past Brad Snelling.

However Whitchurch fought back and equalised through a Scott Hassell header before Aaron Jarvis fired home the winner in the final ten minutes.

Andover Town will look to bounce back from their defeat when they face Team Solent in a league fixture at the Portway on Saturday.

Kick off will be at 3pm.
