CHRIS Lavisher scored a brace as he helped Overton United to their third consecutive win with a 2-1 victory over Colden Common.
United, fresh from their win against local rivals Stockbridge last weekend, went into the break with a commanding two-goal lead through a Lavisher double.
Complacency struck the home side in the second half and Colden began to gain a foothold in the game.
The visitors’ improved performance paid dividends as they pulled a goal back in the second half before pressing for an equaliser.
However, Overton goalkeeper Sean O’Brien produced two strong saves late on to maintain his side’s lead and secure the three points.
