Whitchurch United U18 1 Bracknell Town U18 1

WHITCHURCH pulled out arguably their best performance this season as they got a point from table toppers Bracknell who had a 100 per cent win record before this game.

The got off to a great start as man of the match Joe Hender finished well to make it 1-0 and thought they had doubled their lead when Ben Keegan’s free-kick evaded the Bracknell keeper and ended up in the net, only for it to be ruled out for offside, which mystified the team.

In article mpu Bracknell then scored after a goalmouth scramble to equalise.

The boys put in a very solid second half performance which saw some excellent performances from everyone but they couldn’t find another goal and the game ended 1- 1.

 

Upper Clatford U16 6 South Newton and Wishford 2

A NEATLY-worked team passing move saw Ryan Morgans open the scoring for Clatford.

With all the pressure from Clatford, South Newton conceded an own goal before fighting back to even the scores.

However, with ten minutes to go, Clatford dug in to produce some great goals from Matt Combes, Dan Bearpark and a wonder goal from Morgans.

Rory Alexander played well in defence.

 

Andover Town U10 v Oakley Panthers U10

Kian Timms opened the scoring with a fine finish after good work from Sky Hull and Max Godson.

Solomon Sale soon followed with a great finish after Charlie House passed most of the Oakley team on a dynamic run.

As strong as they were, Oakley could not beat George Lewis, while Sam Miles played well at the back and finished the game up front creating many chances for himself and his team mates.

Max Godson continually ran the left side and provided many crosses which saw Solomon score again and man of the match Harry Godson finish perfectly twice.

Oliver Walker scored an outstanding individual goal and Max Godson finished with one more for the Town.

 

Andover Town White U10 5 Cold Ash U10 5

Town soon found themselves 3-0 down as Cold Ash were just too fast and physical but Joe Burnip and Harry Lunn started to control the midfield and Joe soon got Andover back into the game finishing well.

Kicker Within a few minutes of the restart Tommy Ladd hammered the ball past the Cold Ash keeper to make it 2-3.

Cold Ash still had a lot to say in the game but Daniel Baulsom and Finlay Robinson worked hard in defence and George Lewin was excellent in goal and produced some fine saves to keep Andover Town in the game.

Cold Ash hit back with two more goals but in true Town spirit the boys’ heads did not drop and Harry again linked up well with Joe to grab a goal before halftime.

George Barkley came on for Charlie and had an instant impact, scoring from the kick-off and Joe soon delivered another great goal to make the final score 5-5.

 

Upper Clatford U15 7 Broughton U15 0

BROUGHTON held their own during the first 15 minutes as a complacent Clatford took a while to wake up. Man of the match Tom Smith bossed the midfield hitting some great through balls and Brandon Pude attacked from the right wing to notch his hat-trick before the break. In the second half, strong play from Michael Ifftner secured two more goals then a determined Loz White found the net before Brandon hit his fourth.

Clarendon U14 3 Upper Clatford U14 0 Upper Clatford battled hard to trail Clarendon by a single goal at the interval having missed a penalty. The hosts then added two further goals but Sports Bottle Direct sponsored Clatford, prompted by Oscar Holdway-Lopez in midfield produced an encouraging team performance.

 

CK Andover U14 4 Worthys U14 3

CK ANDOVER U14 s returned to winning ways with a hard fought 4 -3 victory over a physical Worthys team.

CK fielded a reshaped team from the previous week and started well but from a breakaway Worthys took the lead.

Oran Hams equalised for CK with a well struck shot from 30 yards and they took the lead when a cross from Conor Cousins was turned in past the Worthys’ keeper.

Worthys equalised with a well taken goal but CK soon regained the lead with a goal from Sam Clash.

In the second half Worthys started better and soon made it 3-3 and both teams fought hard to find the winner and Schaefer sponsored CK took it when, from a Rhys Jones corner Jack Ardron thundered home a volley to cap of a fantastic team performance.

 

Basingstoke Colts U12 1 Andover Town U12 Red 1

TOWN began on the front foot and went close when Mason Askew hit the woodwork but were not to be denied and took the lead when Owen McGregor latched on to a through ball from Dalibor Lukacovis to score.

Colts replied in kind but were repelled by the visitors defence, behind which Danny Burns turned in a man of the match winning performance.For the first time this season Town took a lead into the interval having taken all that Lightning could throw at them.

The second half saw the home side regularly caught but they took advantage of a defensive slip to bring the scores level.

While Town were pleased to have taken their first point of a difficult campaign they were disappointed not to be returning to Andover with all three
