Longparish U15 v Easton MW U15.

Longparish U15 extended their unbeaten run to five with an impressive performance at home to Easton and Martyr Worthy.

Batting first they scored quickly with Scott Sturt hitting an unbeaten 31, William Samways 25 and Rory Kerr 30 as they closed on 145-4 from their 20 overs.

Easton found scoring difficult and lost wickets at regular intervals with Jamie Blackmore, Harry Samways and Jordan Blackmore taking one each and Findlay Waite and Sturt a brace apiece to secure a 47 run win.

Opener Blackmore belted a quick 30 at the top of the order, Alex Bundy added 31 and skipper William Samways, who has only been dismissed twice at this level all season, was unbeaten on 30 as Longparish set Easton a target of 140 for victory.

All of the Easton top order reached double figures to keep their side in the hunt but an economical spell by Oliver Wills proved decisive along with two wickets for Luke Benzing to clinch a 13 run win for Longparish U13
