Scott Sturt's 50 set up 'Parish U15's victory

Compton and CF U15 v Longparish U15.

Longparish U15 moved into the quarter-final of the Millard Cup with an impressive performance at Compton.

Scott Sturt hit an unbeaten 50 at the top of the order and William Samways was unbeaten on 22 as Longparish closed on 124-5 from their 20 overs.

Harry Samways and William Arnold picked up a wicket each and Sturt took 3-17, but a tight fielding display by Longparish reaped a succession of run outs which saw Compton fall 18 runs short of their target.

St Cross U13A v Longparish U13.

Longparish U13 fell to their first defeat of the season at St Cross.

Callum Giles hit a stylish 30 but much of the remainder of the batting line up succumbed to the bowling of Bussey and Trussler as they were dismissed for 75.

Alex Bundy picked up a brace of wickets and Callum Giles and Bailey Simpson-Bridgen took one each but an unbeaten 25 from Trussler saw St Cross U13A past the target with six wickets remaining.
