The top two teams in the George Parris Tournament made it to the semi-finals out of the group stages and the first game on Upton Park was against Leigh Ramblers.

Kian Timms’s scored and Andover took the victory 1-0 before a 3-1 win over PDSA from London with stunning goals from Solomon Sale, Harry Godson and a Jacob Beatson free-kick over the opposition chased by Oliver Walker and hit first time on the volley.

Thurrock had won both previous games quite comfortably a great game saw a 1-1 draw after fine displays from goalkeeper George Lewis and top defending by Sam Miles and Charlie House ( capt).

The final group game was against Brentwood Athletic and saw another 3-1 victory to Andover with goals from Timms, Charlie Chatee and Max Godson and they were through to the semi-final against Stanway Villa.

They topped their group unbeaten and were a good strong side and a very hard fought game saw Walker hit the net again with the only goal of the game.

Thurrock YFC made it to the final on penalties and the boys dug deep and great runs from the back by House and Miles resulted in Beatson setting up Timms and Timms setting up Beatson in a 2-1 win and Andover were champions.
