In Division 1 of the Whitchurch and District Bowls League Andover A beat Howard Park 48-41 (3-2)at home and climb one place.
St Mary Bourne Hawks suffered their third loss of the season going down 40-50 (0.5-4.5) to league leaders Kingsclere Quails.
Whitchurch Yellows continued their unbeaten run in Division 2 by beating Andover A at home 55-41 (4-1) and move to the top of the table. Andover A remain in sixth place.
Whitchurch Blacks scored a maximum points victory away at Oakley(54-38) and move up to third place. St Mary Bourne Eagles also won 38-33 away to Marnell B to pick up three points and move off the bottom.
In the Division 4 game between St Mary Bourne Merlins and Kingsclere Dave Crannaford and Gwen and Peter Zaslawski recorded the highest winning rink margin for the week (32-5). Merlins won the match 64-35 and picked up four points. Andover C dropped two places in the division after losing 31-58 (1-4) away to Thornycroft B who now take over at the top.
