Gymnasts Tierney Daley, Isabelle Mountain and Leah Fenton did Andover proud when they represented the South in the Inter-Regional Acrobatic Gymnastics competition last week.

The girls faced some very tough competition including teams from Scotland and Wales but stayed calm and focussed throughout the day performing both of their routines with everything they had.

Their personal best scores secured them gold with Bromley winning silver and Ayrshire bronze.

Tierney, Isabelle and Leah, who train five times a week at the Andover Gym Club have been competing as a trio for a year and this is the third gold medal they have won.

They are delighted with the result from the weekend and would like to thank their coach Debbie Roberts for all her time and hard work.

When they secured their place to represent the South they knew that this was their chance to show what they could achieve and all their hard work and training paid off.

Andover also had another trio competing on the Sunday as Hannah Sullivan, Rachel Beckett and Jess Gibson also faced tough competition in their group. Unfortunately they did not medal, however still performed a great routine and were placed seventh.
