Andover New Street 2 Pewsey Vale 3.
Andover New Street went down to another home defeat on Saturday, losing 3-2 to Pewsey Vale in the Wessex League Division One.
Goals from Ryan Bragg, Rickie Franklin and Tom Ritchie gave the visitors a comfortable lead with half hour to go but Dave Cotter made it 3-1 from a breakaway and when Callum Sweeney scored it made for a frantic last 15 minutes.
Boss Matt Styles said after: “To be honest the result makes things look better than they were as Pewsey missed a lot of chances in the first half.
‘The team showed character in not letting it get to them and in the end we went for it.”
Tomorrow New Street are home to US Portsmouth and should welcome back Jack Hutchings after suspension.
Swifts boss Paul Reidy has stepped up to the assstant manager’s role at Foxcotte Park with Matt Davies recovering from surgery.
