Warren Tarrant led the team out but lost 3 and 2, followed by Ian Barton who squared things up having an excellent win by 3 and 2.
Mark Gates got to the tenth hole before losing by 9 and 8, then Ronnie George had a very good 6 and 5 win.
Finally Simon Maskell lost 7 and 6.

Chris Davies and Mark Thomson lost 3 and 2, but after seven attempts visiting Southwood, Mark finally made it across the road to contest the last four holes.
l For the Andover GC Ladies’ first ' Major' of the year - the Valentine's Cup, the weather was blustery and with the course now in excellent condition some better than average golf was played.
After nine holes three ladies were all on the same score, but experience won through and Angela Rogers came out on top followed closely by Sharon Leckie.
The February Stableford was and Mandie Scott triumphed with 37 points from Nicky Rusher with 34.
