Despite the current weather conditions matches in the Basingstoke Tennis League are continuing to be played.
Three teams lead the way at the top of Mens’ Division 1 with Goodworth Clatford, Kintbury and Andover all having won three matches each.
Latest results gave the Goodworth team a 7-1 win against Totally Tennis A with Nick Baldwin and Chris Pugh winning all their sets. Kintbury went down at Andover 7-1 with Hallam Doney and Sean McDonald being unbeaten for the home side.
Andover also secured a 6-2 result against Kingsclere A. Andover B still lead Division 3 although this looks like being a close fought division. Goodworth Clatford joined Beechdown A and Old Basing A at the top of Ladies Division 1 after wins against Aldermaston 5-3 and Totally Tennis A 8-0.
Ros Hursell/Helen Li and Sally Spencer/Karen Causley made up their team against Totally Tennis.
Claire Reid/Gilly Higgs and Elena Clarke/Pervanah Child gave Andover an 8-0 win over Preston Candover B in Division 3 to move them onto the same number of points as leaders Hampshire Court.
