After much graft at the Portway tonight's Wessex League Division One match between Andover Town and Amesbury Town is definitely on.
Manager Neil Benson told the Advertiser this afternoon that despite the overnight deluge the pitch has held up well and referee Colin Hopkins was happy to pass it fit. The predicted rain later today will not be a problem as Town hope to take advantage of all other club's inactivity.
