The Pool Premier League appears now to be a two horse race.

Arms B cruised to a 7-2 win over the Demons while Queen Charlotte won 6-3 away at Hurstbourne to hold a six point lead going into this week’s top of the table clash.

Royal Oak won a thriller away at the QCC’s, Lee George showing some fine form to help his side to a 5-4 win. Anton Harts failed to build on their fine comeback against QCC’s as they lost 5-4 to Merlin, while the Arms Academy won impressively, 9-0 at Arms FD.

Foresters Fatties and Central closed the gap on the Arms D in Division 1 the leaders slipping up 5-4 to Angels of Luck. The Fatties won 5-4 at home to Arms ‘N’ Legs and Central won by the same scoreline at home to New Street.

The Folly climbed off the bottom with a 6-3 win to Shire Sharp Shooters.

Anton Decs and Wolversdene Warriors pulled clear at the top of Division 2. John Hardstaff’s side’s impressive form continued with a 7-2 win away to former leaders Central Mankinis. The Dec’s scraped a 5-4 against the Merlin Masters to stay second and QC Beebies stayed in the hunt with a 5-4 against Plougher Rangers.

Battle Stations missed the chance to join the leaders as they slipped up 5-4 at Railway Club and Merlin Massive won away at the B52’s, 6-3.

Folly Flyers lost their unbeaten record in Division 3 as they lost at Broughton while Swallow Em Up kept in touch with a hard fought 5-4 over Ploughin On. Globe Misfits stayed bottom after a 6-3 defeat at home to HBT Players while Central Hedgehogs again lost 5-4 to Dirty Angels.

Division 4 saw both Lamb Chops sides claim victories. The B side won 5-4 at Hurstbourne to move into second, while the A side beat Arms Snipers 6-3.

Eagle Leftovers remained top after a 6-3 win at Swallow Smash Heads while Clatford Armageddon lost 6-3 away to Welcome Wanderers who joined them in joint third.

Division 5 saw Play Station win again, this time a big 8-1 win over bottom side Merlin Minions. Merlin Mafia moved into second with a 6-3 win over fellow Merlin side, the Muppets.

Slippery Strangers won 5-4 at Royal Oak Beavers to move into second, and the Foresters Chess Club won at Chute to move away from the bottom.
