Win double for Eclipse netball sides

FM Eclipse 42 KWD 22.

FM Eclipse always had control of this game thanks to the swift movement and crisp passing of both Jane Bartlett and Kathryn Evans.

With rivers of water streaming across the court simple passing and accuracy was called for as anything too ambitious was certain to be blown off course or slipped out of hand.

FM Eclipse pulled out an early lead as their proven ability to rotate positions helped to keep their players warm as they each took turns in all areas of the court. In the second quarter KWD started to string some good play together, WA Helen Harkness playing some great balls in but by half-time FM Eclipse still had a strong lead at 22-12.

Kim Belbin gave a great shooting display for KWD and adaptability enabled them to swap around and achieve half points which under the circumstances was well done.

Simply ACES 21 Eclipse Box It 38.

BoxIT emerged deserved winners after a slow start on a rainy Friday.

They played well and had the advantage at half-time before ACES made changes and reduced the deficit, with Cathy Loveridge and Andrea Westley (best player) shooting well from good feeds from Julia Carey and Gemma Edes.
