Super League tribute to ageless Les

Les Brant with Logan Barnecut Les Brant with Logan Barnecut

Andover Invitation Darts Tuesday night Super League draws towards the end with a man who has played in Andover since he was 14 years old, still throwing darts.

Les Brant has represented the Andover League Hampshire county squad for many years and is 81 years young on May 1.

All the players in and out of Andover have so much respect for Les who played against a very talented Logan Barnecut from the Academy who showed he has so much potential in the game. Not only did Logan beat Les 4-1 after being on the receiving end of the same scoreline earlier on in the season, but Logan also hit a brilliant 180 in his final leg to show that he really can compete with some of the best Super League players around.

There is one game outstanding due to weather problems earlier this year but it will not affect the top of the table.

Wolves A are champions once again with Jeff White, Mark Thorne, Ali Macdonald, Steve Shadwell, Martin Adams beating runners-up Rat Pack, represented by Dan Read (Academy), Kev Ede Hampshire captain), Sam Rooney, Jack Morris (Academy).
