BIFFER Gibson masterminded Whitchurch’s contribution to World Squash Day, which was started from a prominent player’s death in 9/11 and is being used this year to promote squash for entrance to the 2020 Olympics.
Worldwide, 462 clubs took part from more than 70 countries with almost 11,000 matches played.
Whitchurch, with only two courts, managed 46 matches from the 27 players participating, the best results in Hampshire and a credit to Biffer’s enthusiasm and selfless commitment.
