THE Basingstoke Gazette have teamed up with MPA Creative to offer you the readers five pairs of weekend passes for the British Touring Car Championship when it heads to Thruxton for the weekend of May 7 and 8.

It is set to be a superb weekend on what is the fastest track in Britain.

Hook driver Rob Collard will be inaction and he is currently fourth in the championship just 14 points behind leader Matt Neal and nine points adrift of reigning champion Gordon Shedden.

As well as the a full programme of touring car races there is a great programme of support races.

The Support acts include the fast-and-furious Renault UK Clio Cup, the ever-entertaining Ginetta Junior Championship for 14-to-17-year-olds which includes Rob collard's son Ricky Collard.

MSA Formula featuring the F1 stars of tomorrow and the sportscar-focused Ginetta GT5 Challenge.

The action will rev into life at 10am on Saturday and 10.45am on Sunday.

There will also be a Pit-Lane Walkabout and Autograph Session at 9.50am on Sunday to allow fans to meet their heroes and grab a cheeky selfie or two.
