FATHER and son Rob and Ricky Collard will be hoping they can continue their excellent start to their seasons on their home track of Thruxton this weekend.

The Hook drivers will both be in action when the British Touring Car Championship arrives at Hampshire for what is sure a high octane weekend of action on Britain's fastest circuit.

BTCC driver Rob Collard already has one race win under his belt this campaign after winning the season opener at Brands Hatch.

He looked set for another podium at Donington until a safety car coast him his chance in the final race of the day and he had to settle for fourth, a result that left him seventh in championship, 22 points behind leader Matt Neal.

Collard's son Ricky moved up to second in the MSA Formula Championship with a double podium success at Donington.
