HATCH Warren kart driver Ethan Perry completed a clean sweep of class wins in the National Formula Six Kart Championship.

The 13-year-old’s final outing of the season was at the Lydd circuit in Kent, which saw him start second on the grid just 0.040 seconds behind pole sitter Alfie Glenie.

Unfortunately, there was no grip on the left hand side of the grid and Perry spun early on, leaving him half a lap down.

Despite this setback, the teenager drove superbly to recover to third place in heat one, while second place in heat two secured a good grid position for the A final.

After a good start, the Perrins School pupil slotted into third spot and then passed Veneno Racing teammate Luke Preston and moved onto the bumper of race leader Alfie Glenie.

The pair exchanged the lead, before Perry had to settle for second spot overall, but it was another class win to complete a clean sweep.

The young racing star is looking for sponsorship to help him move up the ranks in the sport.
