ONCE again north Hampshire British Touring Car Championship drivers Rob Collard and Nick Foster had an eventful day in the latest rounds of the championships held at Silverstone on Sunday.
Hook’s Collard having qualified enjoyed a solid opening race as he finished fifth, but in race two his luck changed, having moved up to fourth, a misfire forced him to retire.
In the final race of the day he had to settle for 12th have started 21st on the grid.
For Odiham’s Nick Foster the first race only lasted two laps as he ended up in a gravel trap after contact.
So he started race two from last on the grid, but made up 12 places to finish 14th and then in his final outing just failed to make the top 10 coming in 11th.
The final three rounds of the Championship are at Brands Hatch on Sunday October 13.
