NORTH Hampshire British Touring Car Championship drivers Rob Collard and Nick Foster are hoping that Silverstone is kind to them again when they travel to the Northamptonshire circuit.

Hook’s Collard twice finished on the podium on his last visit to the track with a second and third place.

After an awful weekend in his last meeting at Rockingham, which saw Collard fail to finish the his last two races, thanks to a slow puncture and being pushed into the barriers.

The Hook driver is keen to make amends and said: “We will have a little bit of turbo boost back for Silverstone.“The circuit has always been good to me and I hope to continue my run there.”

Odiham’s Foster also had a good time at Silverstone last time out with three top 10 finishes and will be hoping to do the same again this weekend.

Foster said: “After finishing just outside the top 10 in all three races in Rockingham when I felt I should have been better, I hope I can do this at Silverstone.”

All the action is live on ITV4 and the programme runs from 11.15am until 6pm and the three BTCC races are scheduled to start at 11:55am, 2.30pm and 5.15pm.
