BASINGSTOKE’S Graham Beale will be driving his 2.0 turbocharged Ginetta G33 at the British Hillclimb Championship and Hillclimb Leaders Championship at Gurston Down, Broad Chalke, near Salisbury on Sunday, starting at 10.30am.
The practice day for the event is on Saturday, with admission £6, while for competition day the price is £10. Accompanied under-14s go free and there is also free parking.
The entry for the event comprises of 18 different classes catering for production-based cars (road going and modified), sports racing cars and single seater racing cars divided up according to engine capacity.
Sunday will finish with the top 12 run offs, when the fastest registered contenders from each set of class runs go for British Hillclimb Championship points in two special shoot-outs.
