THE BASINGSTOKE Bison made it a magnificent seven away wins on the trot as they beat the Milton Keynes Lightning 5-1 for the first time this season at the fifth attempt.
The Herd took the lead 20 seconds into the second period from Ollie Bronnimann and the same forward then made it 2-0.
Michael Wales pulled a goal back for the home side, but further second period strikes from Daniel Volrab and Sam Oakford put the Herd firmly in control.
It was left to Bison player/coach Steve Moria to complete the excellent victory.
