THE BASINGSTOKE Bison returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over the Telford Tigers on Sunday night.
The only goal of the first period was scored by the Herd thanks to Viktor Kubenko.
Telford equalised in the second session from Joe Henry as they converted their seventh powerplay of the night.
Then 26 seconds before the second buzzer Steve Moria edged his side in front again.
In a tense final session there was still one goal in it going into the final two minutes which saw the home side pull their goalie allowing Kubenko to score into the empty net.
Bison goalie Matt Colclough picked up the man-of-the-match award.
