FIVE proved to be the magic number for the Basingstoke Bison in Peterborough on Sunday night as they won 5-2 to make it five wins on the trot.
In the second game in seven days at the Cambridgeshire rink once again the Herd trailed 1-0 at the first buzzer after Greg Randall netted.
The only goal of the second session saw Sam Oakford level things, before the Bison took control in the final period as Ollie Bronnimann and man-of-the-match Steve Moria made it 3-1.
Viktor Kubenko then scored earlier side of a striker from Phantoms Tom Carlon to complete the 5-2 victory.
