ALTRINCHAM Ice Dome once again proved to be a happy hunting ground for the Basingstoke Bison as they snapped their losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Manchester Phoenix.
The home side raced into a 2-0 lead in the first period thanks to Slava Koulikov and Martin Cingel.
Bison man-of-the-match Viktor Kubenko then scored either side of the first break to tie the game and former Phoenix player Joe Miller then made it 3-2.
Ladi Harabin set up a tense final session as netted an equalised just before the second break.
It was left to Bison captain Nicky Chinn to net the game winner for their second consequence victory in Altrincham this season.
