THE BASINGSTOKE Bison moved up to fourth place after their first victory of the season in Yorkshire over the Sheffield Scimitars 3-2.
The home side opened the scoring at 35:32 from Peter Slamiar, before Ollie Bronnimann tied the contest before the second buzzer.
Steve Moria then put the Herd in front, only for Stuart Brittle to level a minute later.
Having killed off a two man advantage to the home side, the visitors then grabbed the winner as captain Nicky Chinn in the final two minutes.
