Bison enjoy victory on the road

THREE unanswered goals in the final period saw the Basingstoke Bison come from behind to win 5-3 on Saturday night at the Peterborough Phantoms.

The Bison Brit pack of Chris Wiggins, Jamie Line and Ollie Bronnimann all scored in the final 20 minutes as the Herd stormed to victory Earlier in the contest, Steve Moria opened the scoring, only for former Bison Warren Tait to score twice to give his side the lead at the first buzzer.

After the break, the home side extended their lead to 3-1 as James Morgan netted, but Bronnimann with his first of the contest kept the Bison in touch as the teams headed to the dressing at the second buzzer.

The final period then belonged to the visitors as their domination told scoring three times.
