KURT Reynolds scored his first goal of the season, but it was all vain as the Bison’s winning streak came to an end.
The Herd losing a thriller 5-4 at leaders Milton Keynes Lightning on Sunday night.
The visitors got off to great start as Reynolds scored in the opening two minutes and then Ollie Bronnimann doubled the advantage, before the first break.
The second period, saw the Bison increase their lead to 3-0 as Ondrej Lauko scored his fifth goal of the weekend at 20:47.
The home side then mounted a comeback as Andre Smulter and Lukas Zetopek both scored, before a great solo strike from Bronnimann made it 4-2 at the second buzzer.
The final 20 minutes belonged to the Lightning as Leigh Jamieson scored an early powerplay goal and then two quick strikes from Jamieson and Grant McPherson earned MK the win.
