THE BASINGSTOKE Bison moved up to second in the English Premier League after a 4-2 win at Swindon on Saturday night.
The Herd led at the first break thanks to Greg Chambers.
Man-of-the-match Greg Owen extended the lead, before Jamie Hayes opened the Swindon account.
Chambers then second of the night made it 3-1only for Wildcats' Aaron Nell to set up a tense final period.
Owen's second powerplay of the night proved to be the last goal of the contest as the Bison bounced straight back to winning ways after defeat in Guildford.
