ABACUS Employment Services have extended their sponsorship of Hatch Warren Phoenix FC for another two years.

The company will sponsor the Inferno under-sevens, the under-eight Flames and Blaze as well as the under-13 sides in the Testway, Peter Houseman and North East Hants leagues.

Abacus Finance director Jason Fuller said: “Last season we sponsored one of the Phoenix teams and it was so well received by not only Daren Bavister (manager) and the parents, but more so by the children.”

“We have been so impressed by the improvements in the team.

“It is said that every picture tells a story. Well, every picture we have seen of the Phoenix has been of a child smiling, and that ticks so many boxes for us as a business.”

Managing director Chris Addis added: “Being present at Hatch Warren Phoenix events and seeing it so well attended is proof that this is an exciting club to be part of. These are clearly very thrilling times for all concerned.

“For us at Abacus Employment Services, this is so much more than our name on the team shirts. We strongly believe that this is an investment in the children’s future and extending the sponsorship to cover team strips for the majority of the club is the very least we could do.”

Chairman of the club, Daren Bavister, said: “Setting up new teams is inherently financially challeng-ing. The support Abacus gave us last season helped kick-start this whole adventure.

“After such a terrific start to the children’s football experience, we didn’t think it could be bettered, until Jason and Chris offered us this massive sponsorship.

“Next season sees the club welcome two new under-13s teams as well as our development squad, the Inferno under-sevens, and I know that those involved in the new teams are already overwhelmed by the support we have received.”
