JUSTIN Rose fired in seven birdies as finished joint seventh, with Paul Casey at the BMW Masters in Shanghai.
The event saw Swede Kristoffer Broberg win his maiden European Tour title after a play-off victory over American Patrick Reed.
The 29-year-old world number 149 birdied the first extra hole to defeat Reed after both of them finished at 17 under. Rose finished two shots off the lead on 273 after rounds of 67, 72, 67 and 67.
