NORTH Hampshire golfers were in dominant form at the Hampshire Golf Association Ladies Senior Championship.
Basingstoke Golf Club's Diana Oram, who plays off a handicap of three, shot 77 (+5) around Brokenhurst Manor to win the event.
Second place also went to a golfer from the north of the county, Hartley Wintney's Deirdre Randell shooting 84 (+12) to finish as runner-up. The seven-handicapper also claimed a top-five finish in the nett competition.
Back at Hartley Wintney, Tom Winder won the Seve Trophy, an annual competition held to raise money for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation.
A four-over-par round of 75 earned Winder the gross prize, three shots clear of second-placed Jamie Mullin. Ian Fitzpatrick was a further shot back on 79.
The nett competition was won by Robert Bosworth, who denied Winder a winning double by a single shot thanks to a two-under-par total of 69. Mullin was a further shot back in third.
Roly Newman and Robert Bosworth won the Huntsdale Cup, a pairs competition that includes three different formats. Their total of 64.5 (-6.5) was three-and-a-half strokes better than second-placed Dennis Smith and Phil Reid, who beat Ian Smith and Keith Morris on countback.
Bosworth also won the Coronation Cup, a full handicap Stableford event played over the course of two days.
Bosworth claimed victory on countback, having finished level with Mike Penton on 39 points.
Four further players were a single shot back. Mullin claimed third place on countback, with Peter Lawrence fourth.
