BRIAN Tracy and Dave Hampsey have been crowned winners of the Weybrook Park Golf Club winter league.

The pair finished on 206.6points, two fewer than second-placed Charlie and Liam Kelly. John Connor and Brian Williams claimed third place.

A total of 80 competitors took part in the Leslie White Memorial Trophy at Hartley Wintney Golf Club. Mike Robey claimed the win, his early score of 44 points proving enough to win, one clear of second-placed Dave Quinn. Neil Hutchinson was a further point back in third.

Alun Lamerton and Tony DeVos finished level at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the March Midweek Stableford on 39 points, with Lamerton winning on countback. Bob Henry was four points back in third.

Henry did even better in the Seniors Match Trophy, which was played over nine holes due to wet weather. He amassed 21 points to beat Dave Boardman on countback, with John Walker third, two points back.

The first midweek medal of the year was won by Keith Morris, whose nett score of 71 saw him beat Chris Millard by two shots. John Kerby was a further shot back in third.

More than 100 players took part in the Martin Vase Pairs, which was won by Mike Kelly and Chris Smith, who beat Jamie and Anita Hobdell on countback after both amassed 45 points. John Comfort and Trevor Jessett were a point back in third.

The ladies' March Stableford was won by Jan Newman, who amassed 34 points to beat Paula Spurrier by one point. Jackie Keay was one further back in third.
